Cool Glitchy Hip Hop Beat
Wow, that AKAI keyboard does seem pretty awesome. Thanks for describing all the live stuff you're doing, that's cool. I've experimented in similar ways in the past.

Thanks for the review, but how come you give it an 8 without criticism?

I agree with duckhits that the intro made into a loop would be nice. I could see it for flash game menus. But I think the rest sounds really awesome too. The Bass at 2min in is nice. I like reading what the inspiration was for the music, thanks for writing that, I wish more artists would do that (me included). Personally I visualize the Egyptian pyramids when I hear this.
I'm really glad you sprinkled a bunch of chill breakdowns in the track. If you know what I mean.
Darn right the rest sounds awesome! ;) Hehehe, aye, I'm a loop maniac, it's amazing what you can do with 8 bars. Glad the inspiration was actually read for once! :D It's amazing how often people ask about stuff that's written right there in the comments. ;)
Thanks for the nice review, Rowland. Glad the breakdowns kept ya chilled. :)
I forgot to review. Oh wait
I think I can slightly hear the Tron Legacy inspiration. Very nice. I'm so excited to see that movie. Daft Punk's soundtrack for it is just NICE.
In the kick is where it's most noticeable. The song really took off in a different direction like I said. And yeah, can't wait to see more Tron!

Wow, those are great vocals you had to work with. And awesome guitar. I wish I could hear the original to compare.
i believe i have it some where on my comp, if i find it ill put it up
Good, maybe needs a couple tweaks
Really good composition, but there are some timing issues I believe in your guitar recordings. A few notes, especially starting at 0:13, seem a little off the beat. You may want to go back and re-record some of the guitar just to get it nice and precise. I think it's worth doing because the song sounds really good otherwise.
I'd love to go back and tweak it but I can't. I'm not the one who did the mixing. I'm glad you think it's okay though!
Good background music
Ominous yet chill. I like.
Glad you enjoyed it.
I checked out your stuff and as you'll find I love warbling kind of sounds :)
Thanks for the review!
Wow, exactly as described
And quality too, very nice. Great little glitch noises. I envision a player select menu for a metal-slug type game.
glad you like it!

Wow, this got groovy a couple minutes in! I'd say this new style you're trying is working well. So chill... I love it. I kept waiting for a big warm bass to come in, just to complete the funky feel. Flute was unexpected.
Thanks man! About the bass: I still tried to keep it minimal, so no fancy basslines or anything. For real minimal this actually has too many melodie :P But then there's just the funky side of me. I took it more on the st germain road (if you know who im talking about, look him up on utube) And the flute, that was just a small joke between me and a friend. And it made a good excuse for a title :P Thanks for the review!

Cool loop
Yea, I think this is worthy of expanding on

Cool bass
Great tune! I like the beat and could see it in a flash game. A few things I would do to make it better: One, start the song with the bass (cut out 50 sec of intro, though I like the cool sfx stuff you're doing, do it with bass), two, expand upon the song a little to make it about 3 min, and three, make it loop well. And maybe give the bass a bit more low-end power.
I actually was expecting someone to point out the small lack of notes in the intro. I also thought it might have been a little too short. Thx 40 review *_O
